Ye Qizhang was born in Shanghai in 1938. He graduated from the department of oil painting of Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts in 1967. In 1978 he enrolled in Chinese Artists Association. In 1983 he went to U.C.Berkeley of America as a visiting scholar. From 1987 to1992 he worked in S.F.Art Institute,America.After returing to homeland he set up his studio,and engaged in design and painting.His works have been exhibited at home and abroad.
